FF6 meets FF7 CH1

"Locke, let me protect you for once," uttered Celes as she was swept away with Kefka to another dimension.
In a blink of an eye Celes found herself in an unfamiliar field face to face with Kefka and two fully programmed magi-tek armored soldiers. Slightly frightened by the odds, she immediately pulled out her sword. "You fool!" Kefka snorted "you can't protect your friends forever! Lieutenant Biggs! Sergeant Wedge! Remind Celes how the Empire deals with traitors." The valley was filled with the echoing laughter of Kefka and before Celes could react Kefka returned to the Magi-tek factory.
"Biggs? Wedge? I thought you disappeared in the Esper mission?" questioned Celes.
"Rumors had it that you disappeared after the South Figaro Expedition. But it turns out you turned into a back stabbing little witch!" Biggs scoffed.
"Your loyalty is misplaced." Celes said.
Wedge started to power up his engines to personally deliver Celes a spell when Biggs realized, "No Magic! Don't you remember her Runic Abilities you idiot!"
"Yeah, Wedge, but it doesn't mean I can't." Celes replied casting Lightning 2. The bright flash could be seen for miles on the clear, sunny day.

*Not to far away was Cloud, Tifa, and Barret on their journey to Junon.
Seeing the blast Barret growled "What the hell was that!!!?"
"I told you I heard a hyena," Tifa said.
"Whatever you heard and whatever we saw did not look welcoming. Tifa use the PHS and call in some reinforcements. I have a feeling we will need them." Cloud said as they hurried off.

"Ha!" snorted Biggs, "Is that the best you can do?!" He awkwardly threw a punch with the long mechanical arm. She easily dodged the blow and began to cast Ice 2.
Wedge, still a little stunned by the lightning, tried to cure himself but Celes quickly pulled out her runic blade to collect mp. "Damn it man! I told you not to cast magic!" Biggs scolded. Wedge thought to himself 'Cure and bolt may be magic but tek-missiles aren't.' He grinned at the idea and started to punch in the commands to launch. Biggs kept lunging at Celes but her swift agile moves were not a match for the technological giants. She gracefully sliced at the vital instruments with her sword and forgot about Wedge, who was powering up for a lethal blow. With some damage already made to Wedge's armor, a loud noise boomed warning Celes of the launch. But the loud boom came too late for Celes to dodge. Celes was hit hard and the blast pushed her 10 yards into the air. Her sword and runic blade went in one direction and her body in the other. Celes opened her eyes to see a Magi-tek armor hovering over her.

CH 2

"You were our hero. You were the reason we joined the Empire. How could you? How could you go against everything and everyone for a pretty face?... Now die like the traitorous slut you are!" Biggs said as he and Wedge powered up to attack at the same time with Fire and Ice knowing that she was not in possession of her runic blade. "Get ready to fire at the same time and exterminate this pest.
"5...4...3...2..."
Celes cringed for the worst. The journey through the magi-tek factory weakened her and fear sank to the pit of her stomach.

Shots rang out from the distance. "Ow! Why the hell did you hit me Wedge?!!" Biggs screamed in agony. "I did not!" Wedge yelled furiously. "How dare you lie!" scolded Biggs as he punched in commands to override Wedge's central computer. "Well then I guess I will have to be the one who will destroy of the traitors!"
"But... I... didn't..." A large boom filled the air as Biggs set off Wedge's self-destruct. "And now for you. What? Where did you go, Celes?" Through all of the commotion Celes use the diversion to get her weapon. She hid behind a near by a rock preparing to attack.
Out of the commoion a single shot rang out. Barret, with his gun to the air caught the attention of Biggs and said, "Didn't your mother teach you mannors?"
"You were the one that hit me?!!!!!"
"Yep."
"Shit!!"

Cloud and Tifa ran over to help Celes. "Are you all right?" Cloud asked. Celes nodded.
"Fine. Just wait here while we finish him off. Tifa are you ready?"
"Ready as I ever will be."
"Let's go" Cloud and Tifa ran of to attack Biggs from behind.
Celes cast heal and watched briefly as the strangers fought. She ran back out into the open and fought side by side with the brave hero's. By no time the armor fell to the hard ground. "Damn you Returners!" Biggs screeched thinking that Celes transported him somewhere outside of Vector. With the last ounce of energy the Magi-tek cast Ice. With a quick reaction of Celes the magic was absorbed with runic blade.
Unsure of what Celes actually did, Cloud said with vacillation "Thanks, I think."

CH 3

"Actually, I should thank you." Celes said with a side-glance to Cloud replacing the sword into her sheath. She turned around to extend her hand to Cloud.
"My name is Celes." He accepted her hand and shook it.
"I am Cloud. This is Barret and this is Tifa."
"Who were they?" Tifa questioned.
"They were my soldiers... but...well it's a long story that I have no time to share. You see, I need to return to my friends. They're in grave danger." Celes declared while staring out into the beauty of the foreign land.
"Which way are you headed? Maybe you can travel with us." Tifa offered.
"Headed?" Celes did not want to tell them she came from a different world because she was afraid that their reaction would not be friendly. "Um... I don't need to be escorted. I can magically transport there." Cloud wondered to himself, 'I wonder what type of materia she has that can let her transport?' Celes realized that the activities left her a little drained and she did not have enough magic to transport safely to her world "Oh no."
"What now?" ask Barret a little uneasy with this stranger before him.
"I am out of mp. I can't get back home."
"I'd offer you a elixer but we are fresh out" Cloud said.
"I know. Why don't we go to Junon they should have a store that sells some," Barret offered.
"I am kind of in a hurry but if it is the only way to recharge my mp I will go," said Celes.
"Fine then. On the way there maybe you can tell us what was going on," Cloud suggested.
"Only if you tell me why you are out in the middle of no where first" Celes thought to herself 'Maybe that can stall enough so I don't have to tell them where I am from. I don?t want them to freak out. Who knows WHAT they are capible of doing.'
"We got here as soon as possible. What did we miss?" Aeris asked innocently as she, Yuffie, and Red XIII walked over to Cloud.
"Let's go. We'll tell you on the way"

Ch 4

They began to walk toward the city while Coud introduced the rest of the group. He began to answer Celes question:
"We were lucky enough to be close by because we head that there was a ninja that could help us on our journey."
"That Ninja would be me!" Yuffie boasted.
"We found her and wanted to experience up before it got dark. Then we were to return to Junon to rest." Cloud started to explain.
"Um... Cloud?" Tifa spoke up with a confused expression. "Can I talk to you alone?" Aeris immediately shot Tifa a jealous glare.
"Um...sure," Cloud replied wearily.
Cloud and Tifa walked away from the group. "We have five elixers why did you tell her otherwise? Are you in love Cloud Strife? You can tell me. We ARE childhood friends," Tifa said trying not to look jealous.
"No. I wanted her to come along just in case she worked with the Shinra. If she does, well we got her cornered. There is something about her I just can't trust. It?s like she isn?t human."
Tifa silently sighed to herself and thought 'It's hard enough to compete with Aeris and Yuffie, but this new girl... I wonder what I did to deserve this?'
